The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Cote d’Ivoire, His Excellency Guillaume Soro Kigbafori Soro , arrived in Nairobi, Kenya on 11th December 2013 ahead of Kenya’s Independance Day Celebrations, which marked the country’s 50th anniversary.
H.E Guillaume Soro Kigbafori represented The President of the Republic of Cote d’Ivoire, His Excellency Alassane Ouattara at the festivities and was accompanied by the Minister of African Integration and Ivorians Abroad, Mr. Ally Coulibaly.
The highlight of the celebrations was the parade that took place on 12th December 2013, Kenya’s day of independence. Held at the Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani, the afternoon hosted heads of state and government officials from numerous countries, invited by H.E Uhuru Kenyatta.
After the celebrations H.E Uhuru Kenyatta, accompanied by Deputy President H.E William Ruto met with H.E Guillaume Soro Kigbafo as well as Mr. Ally Coulibaly at State House, Nairobi Kenya. In attendance as well was Cabinet Secretary of The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kenya, H.E Amb. Amina Mohamed CBS, CAV
